Cape
Florida Light House - The Cape Florida Light house is the oldest
surviving lighthouse in Florida however it has seen it struggles.
Destroyed during the old-time Indian Wars and the Civil War it has
risen time and again. Today it is open to the public and the Keeper's
Cottage has been restored to house a museum.
Everglades
National Parks - With miles upon miles of trails to wander in
the ancient Florida everglades loose yourself in the past. Watch
out for slumbering alligators and for every kind of beautiful wild
life that Florida has to offer.
Hialeah
Park - Hialeah Park was originally built in 1925 as a resort
facility. It is the oldest recreational resort in Florida. The rich
and famous would ride special trains to the island to watch the
horses race on a racetrack that was designed after European racing
sites like Longchamps in France. Today the several islands in the
park lake are inhabited by large flocks of pink flamingos and it
has been officially designated a sanctuary for the American Flamingo
by the Audubon Society.

Museum of Southern Florida - The Historical Museum of Southern
Florida tells the story of south Florida and the Caribbean in a
way that links the past with the present to influence the future.
With many objects and photographs to walk you through the past into
today it is a place to visit to gain a true understanding of southern
Florida.

Monkey
Jungle - Monkey Jungle is known for being a place where humans
are caged and the monkeys run free. It began in 1933, when animal
behaviorist, Joseph DuMond, released six monkeys into the wilds
of southern Florida. Today the clan has grown to include over 80
monkeys and Joseph Dumond is not the only one interested in watching
their curiosities. A place of family fun that will hold children
and adults alike mesmerized.
Parrot
Jungle and Gardens - Parrot Jungle is another animal habitat
where, in this case, the birds fly free. Trails leaving the natural
flora untouched make a magical place to wander among these bright
and beautiful creatures.
Venetian
Pool - Venetian Pool was originally a rock quarry later turned
into beautiful pools and surrounded by Spanish Mediterranean architecture
and giant palm trees. With many curves and waterfalls it is a lovely
place to spend a day relaxing.
Miami
Metrozoo - Making it's beginning in 1948 as The Crandon Park
Zoo with three monkeys, one goat and two black bears purchased from
a stranded road show; what is now the Miami Metrozoo is among one
of the top of it's kind. It boasts the live births of two bald eagles
and is home to many rare and beautiful animals in its new facility.

Seaquarium - The Miami Seaquarium is a great place for family
